So if you have a minivan and four kids, and you choose the "Take kids to school" interaction, all four kids will automatically get orders to pile into the car. Additionally, you can use the car for a make out place, or you can steam the windows up with a Woo Hoo. Incidentally, Woo Hoo-ing is a severely tests your car's suspension. Try it once, you'll see what I mean. If you find yourself blocked in by another car or Sim, the invisible hand of the Maxis God will move the car for you once a Sim has an order to drive.

This way, you won't be late for work or anything even if a bus is blocking you in. One more thing: if your Sim late for work but has his own car, he can drive to work even after he's supposed to be there. The Job Performance Meter in the Job Panel will dip a bit, but it won't dip as much as if the Sim had completely skipped out on work. Plus, the Sim will be paid his full, standard paycheck.

Sims on Free Will are aware of the car, and will drive it provided they're flagged as the owner once they need to. Sim Sparks Sims have always been attracted to each other fairly easily so far. Only a massive divergence of interests would harm two Sims' relationships, but even that could be overcome with a bit of work. Not anymore. Although love can still blossom under any circumstances with enough effort, Sims now get two turn-ons and one turn-off from a limited list.

If two Sims match up, they will have positive chemistry. This will make certain social interactions available earlier in the relationship, and make it easier for all interactions to pass. Conversely, if two Sims are incompatible, they will have negative chemistry, and actions will fail more often. Sims who are teens or older can set their turn-ons and turn-offs in the Family Creation Screen.

In-game, a Sim will get to choose his turn-ons and turn-offs along with his desired Aspiration when he turns from Child to Teen. Sims who were created before the expansion was installed automatically gain a potion called the ReNuYu Porta-Chug, which is a one-time shot to allow you to change your turn-ons and turn-offs.

That way Sims made before the expansion won't be locked into randomly given ones. Except for a couple special items, turn-ons and turn-offs are permanent, so think carefully before choosing them. Pyro's and Stephanie's are below. The Gypsy Matchmaker Even with all the love in the air, finding your Sim's soul mate isn't always easy. Luckily, there's a new service that can help you. One phone call can get you the gypsy, who offers different things.

You can buy a love potion for your Sim to temporarily have positive chemistry, or you can buy Vampirism Antidotes. The gypsy's main service is to be a matchmaker, however. For a fee, she'll scan the list of Sims and Townies to look for someone that carries positive chemistry for your Sim. The more you pay, the more likely you'll get a good match. Pay little, and the date may be exactly what you don't want. As soon as you fork over the cash, the plucky target plummets from the sky and smashes into the sidewalk, a visual so hilarious that Maxis should get some sort of award for in-game sense of humor.

As soon as the target picks himself or herself up, a date automatically starts, including putting up the Date Meter in the corner. Even though this date starts at your Sim's house, nothing is stopping you from calling a taxi or jumping in your car and doing the date Downtown. Homosexual Sims are not left out in the cold on this, by the way.

Once you ask the gypsy for a blind date, she'll ask you if you want the date to be male or female. Teens and older can use the matchmaker's services. Children and younger cannot. Just because this service is intended merely for dates doesn't mean it can't be exploited for other purposes. If you have a Sim that is out of friends and needs to get his social meter up or just needs to meet new people for his network, asking for a blind date will always produce another Sim.

Of course, there's a chance that the Sim who is produced is already on the active Sim's list, but chances are the active Sim will meet someone new.

If a Sim gets angry at another Sim for any reason which can be anything from witnessing cheating to getting a drink thrown in their face , the Sim who was offended will enter Furious mode against the aggressor. This will temporarily lower both relationship meters greatly, and enable certain negative social interactions quicker.

As time goes on, the fury will subside, provided no action is done to "reset the clock," as it were. As the fury subsides, the relationship meters will slowly restore back to the original levels. The reason the option is there, but grayed out is because Nightlife was released before OfB, so if you have both EPs, the option is there. Many of my defaults come from here.
